Today-Saturday.Comedy festival. Aspen has a storied stand-up history, from the HBO-sponsored U.S. Comedy Arts Festival to its more recent role as home of theRooftopComedy.comFestival. Those events have moved on, but the Wheeler Opera House is staging an ambitious, if smaller, event this weekend. Organizers are playing it safe with middle-of-the-road headliners like Christopher Titus and Caroline Rhea, but the real action will be with exciting up-and-comers like Christina Pazsitzky, worthy locals Andrew Orvedahl, Jim Hickox, Hippieman and dozens of other undiscovered gems. I was flying to Cincinnati yesterday trying to sleep against the window when I kept hearing aggressive chewing and licking. To my left was this mousy lady, reading her Kindle while feverishly eating her fingers. Here is a piece of that amazing moment.

My latest obsession is an Oakland wegro named “Kreayshawn”. Slashleen posted this girl’s stuff on her site http://slashleen.tumblr.com/ and I can’t stop watching this jam “Bumpin’ Bumpin’”.  I love this chick. She’s endlessly entertaining. Kreayshawn  has a video of her sister getting out of jail after 6 months. Fan-fucking-tastic. I’d rather watch this girl take a dump than listen to one entire Lady Gaga song.
