Bob and Tom are Awesome

So I did the famous “Bob and Tom” show today and was so nervous this morning because they are like radio royalty. It was my first time with them, but my husband Tom Segura had done the show before and raved about them. I woke up naturally at like 6am in a total lather. Keep in mind, I get anxiety just checking the mailbox or listening to voice mail, so doing radio can induce fits of bowel torture. But I did my usual pre-game warm-up which is just sit down very still and panic quietly. After I did that for an hour and a half, I was ready to rumble!

I got to meet Tammy Pescatelli, who is the sweetest lamb of all and so talented and funny. She made me feel at ease instantly and my friend Michael Kosta who I knew from LA was already there.

I really liked Bob and Tom. They’re very low key and rational and that’s such a relief. Nothing worse than having some high energy toolbag at 6am trying to get you to do cartwheels and shucky ducky it up. Kristi was super nice and Chick was too. All around aces and a good time. The picture they used of me is like almost ten years old. I’m way fatter now but hey, I’m a comic not a model so that gives me license not to give a shit about my weight.

Ok, time to get ready for the show. I should take a shower today at some point.
